Australian duo Dekleyn have been around for a few years, but it was 2020 where they really started to shine, mostly thanks to the release of their first full-length album. Over the course of the year, they’ve dropped a variety of singles in support of their self-titled debut, which boasts a unique blend of danceable indie-pop cuts, including our personal favourite ‘Modern Age’. They describe the release as “the product of a year of hard work and many years developing our skills as songwriters and producers. It symbolises a turning point in the evolution of Dekleyn and it has been a huge stepping-stone toward our next phase.” That next phase should kick off next year, so be on the lookout for some exciting new tracks. -Dan Peeke
